I wanted to bring in an established character with history to give the comic some weight. Allow me to introduce, The American Crusader. I like him because he's a cool Superman analog and because he's in the public domain, which means I can use him without getting sued.

Big leap in time here. As you've probably noticed there are quite a few pages missing, which raises questions: How did the incredible Cocuyo defeat Dr. Scarab and save his father? How did he get the magical spear? Hopefully one day we'll find out.

I'd like to thank Frank Ruiz and Chirs Turner for their phenomenal work illustrating The Incredible Cocuyo. This is (unfortunately for me) their last page as they'll be moving on to their own comic project. Good luck, guys, and thanks for all your help.
